Foodie Friday: HB’s Epic Chili

Get ready for it.

I never go back for seconds but I ALWAYS go back for thirds when HB makes this.


I’m not going to lie, the man’s chili is EPIC. He was so gracious enough to share the recipe with me. Read: I stood over his shoulder while he was cooking it and eyed his every move like a hawk.

Here’s what you need:

1 Large can crushed tomatoes

1 can peas / carrots mix

1/2 lb ground beef (if you choose)

1 can kidney beans

chili powder




What you need to do:

1. Brown your ground beef in a pan. Set aside.

2. heat up your crushed tomatoes peas and carrots, salt, pepper to taste.

3. add your ground beef and let simmer for a while.

4. add in chili powder liberally until it is at the spice that you like it.
